This winter season, Tiny Hoppers Richmond East was proud to host our Winter Concert at the Quilchena Golf and Country Club. Families, teachers, and staff gathered together for the festive event and shared in the holiday spirit with one another with performances from each class and a delicious buffet style lunch afterwards!
As each class joined the stage to perform, they wore their matching costumes and teachers led them through their well practised dance routine. Children sang and dance to their songs about Santa, snowmen, reindeer and elves, as families gathered to enjoy the performance and celebrate in the winter magic.
After the concert, the celebration continued with a festive buffet, which gave families and teachers time to relax and socialize with one another. The buffet was an abundance of delicious flavours, such as turkey, traditional stuffing, and “candy cane” vegetables. There was also a variety of delicious desserts that were offered after!
Throughout the event, there were some other special things to happen too! There were opportunities for photos to be taken; families joined together near the beautiful Christmas tree, gathered under the balloon arch, visited the extra large blow up snow globe, and had their photo taken by the big windows overlooking the golf course. A few families won prizes from the raffle draw, and as families were leaving they received two gifts from their child’s class and the school.
Events like these remind us of the joy of the season; a sense of community, and gathering together to create memories. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Winter Concert this year!
