The children worked together to make some ginger bread playdough. When all completed they practiced making their own ginger bread men. Manipulating the dough is a great way to use their fine motor skills and is a great way to invite some parallel play amongst the children at the tuff table. The children are able to make their own choices as to what tools they would like to use or what shape they would like to make their cookie. It also offers the children to develop their skills with sharing with one another and waiting their turn.
