This week, the Toddlers took their curiosity and creativity to the roads. The children were able to enhance their fine motor skills by carefully driving through their underpass. This created environment invited the children to investigate, imagine, think, create, problem solve, and make meaning from their experiences. By focusing their attention on conquering the track, they were able to regulate their emotions through the tricky turns. The activity quickly grew into a gross motor one as the children got more creative by becoming the cars as they worked with their educators to create a life sized track.
