Our Hoppers loved learning how to mix colours using rainbow stew. We made one recipe of the stew for each colour. We then spooned a spoon full of each colour into a Ziplock bag for each child to enjoy! What new colours can we make with our rainbow stew?
Cook together:
4 cups water, 2/3 cup sugar, 1 1/3 cups corn starch, Food Colouring- either red, yellow or blue.
Use at least 2-4 teaspoons of food colouring to make intense colours.
Cook until thickened and place one teaspoon of each colour in a plastic baggie.
