The educators in the toddler room noticed the children enjoy putting things inside boxes, or containers and taking them in and out. One educator decided to bring in some small Christmas boxes of different sizes and provided the children with some toys or materials that they could put into the boxes to make “little gifts”. The toddlers had fun making little presents during this activity and opening and closing the boxes.
