The educators brought tires into the classroom from outside, ramps made of wood, tubes and balls! What can be more fun than that? This is an awesome gross motor activity where the children are really putting their own balance and coordination to the test! They are climbing, jumping, throwing, rolling, holding, moving themselves through the tires, climbing the tires, picking up the wood pieces and throwing the balls. They have enjoyed this the WHOLE week! There are so many other ideas for other activities to add to this to continue their engagement. They were also able to use the balls and put them down the tubes. The children were also doing a great job taking turns and being gentle with other friends!
