The preschoolers have been so into dinosaurs in the classroom! Today for art, they made their own dinosaurs using pieces of pasta as the “fossils”. What a wonderful fine motor practice and learning experience for them. They were given 3 choices of pasta so they could choose which ones they wanted to use and even mix! They were able to use their fine motor pincer grasp to pick up the pasta and using their skills to hold the glue and put it on their dinosaur. They were able to use the pasta to cover the whole dinosaur to make it look like fossils. The children enjoyed this activity so much!
