The Tiny Hoppers' Nursery School Program is fully licensed and registered with the Ministry of Children's and Youth Services Department of Ontario. This program gives preschoolers the opportunity to get away from their parents for a few mornings a week.

Children will be engaged in educational games and activities including parachute play, dramatic play, songs, stories, rhythmic dancing, ball play, and bubble time.

Activities will be planned based on the Ontario Curriculum for Kindergarten and will provide children with a jumpstart for those all important kindergarten skills. This program will be sure to help your child to adapt to a kindergarten program and will provide them with the opportunity to practice socializing with their peers.

Social Emotional Concepts
These skills help children be successful in social situations, such as listening to others, giving compliments, taking turns, asking questions, sharing, showing consideration for others, and working cooperatively.

Cognitive Skills
These skills are extremely important in assisting children in recognition of  Basic Letters, Shapes, Their Name,Colours,and Numbers.

Fine Motor Skills
A child*s fine motor skills involve the use of the eye to hand co-ordination. These skills will be developed through Cutting, Pasting, Painting, Colouring, Lacing, Shape Sorting, Puzzles and Block Play.

Gross Motor Skills
A Gross motor skill is the ability to perform a coordinated set of physical movements. We will be working on these skills through Rhythmic Dancing, Jumping, Throwing,Catching, Sliding, Climbing and Music and Movement.
